Integral to our festival this year is the StoryGarden Initiative, an endeavour aimed at sowing the seeds of literary love among communities. We are creating a bookshelf ‘StoryGarden’ at the AIM Literary Festival which will showcase diverse books of all cultures and ages – A true reflection of the vibrant UK community. This initiative hopes to create spaces where stories can blossom, and readers, irrespective of age or background, can immerse themselves in the world of books.

In line with our endeavour to promote diversity in publishing, we are creating a bookshelf, ‘StoryGarden’, at the AIM Literary Festival, which will showcase diverse books of all cultures and ages. The StoryGarden will be featured at our inaugural evening on 17th November at Nehru Centre, London and on 19th November at Brent Civic Centre, Wembley, London.
We are delighted that along with established publishers like Bloomsbury, we also have independent bookshops and new and bestselling authors who have contributed their books for the StoryGarden bookshelf.
Your Benefit
The 'StoryGarden' bookshelf is aligned with our mission to champion diversity in publishing. We understand that marketing and publicity are sometimes far more arduous that writing a book. This initiative will give you an opportunity to see you book alongside illustrious writers and new authors; all connected for love of stories. We are coordinating with independent bookshops to make noise about the richness that diverse books can bring.
We want you to make the most of this opportunity! The best way to do that is to be there at the Festival, meet the readers, meet the professionals and make some noise on social media. As the festival will bring together authors, publishers, literary agents, and fellow booksellers. It's an excellent opportunity for networking and establishing valuable connections within the literary community.

Stories are the golden thread that connect cultures and transforms lives. Stories transcend boundaries and open perception. This is one strong reason why stories must not be contained in a box. They have to be given space to fly across countries and culture. This is the reason why we work earnestly to promote diversity and inclusion in publishing.
StoryGarden is a vision, a dream that has seeded at AIM Literary Festival. We have received submissions from across the globe and these will be showcased at the literary diverse bookshelf.
Collaborate with us by contributing the titles that reflect diversity. We are grateful to Bloomsbury for supporting our endeavour by contribution their titles.
